Aimed at children aged 8-14, the focus of these group workshops is on fun and learning to play with a group of people – to listen to each other and enjoy playing music together. Participants will learn both traditional and modern fiddle tunes and learn about the techniques and ornamentation used in the Scottish fiddle. Children should be comfortable in first position and be confident to try learning a tune by ear – sheet music is provided by email at the end of the lesson.
