Keyboard virtuoso Alan Brown and sound designer, multi-instrumentalist Kingsley Spargo are renowned electroacoustic duo Alargo. The Auckland based pair have released two critically acclaimed albums Central Plateau and Primacy, and will preview material from their third album at CJC.  

Alargo’s music is described as beautifully atmospheric soundscapes, releasing audiences effortlessly down the hallucinogenic rabbit hole. They use space to dynamic effect in their compositions.  

“We’re no longer constrained by tempo, melody or form; which enables us to deeply explore texture and our creative spontaneity,’ says OC resident Spargo.  

Equipped with iPads, loopers, synths and a battery of acoustic instruments, Alargo takes you on a trip to the outer limits (no hallucinogenics required or $250k fee for Elon Musk) allowing one to drift to unimagined landscapes hidden deep within the psyche.
