Ethno NZ has been operating for five years in Aotearoa running inter-cultural music-sharing residencies. In 2021 they are running small taster sessions, and mini concerts and workshops around the regions. After the workshop there will be a concert with performances by the tutors as well as a collective community performance. Each needs to be booked separately.

Workshop Tutors:

Hanna Wiskari - a prolific Swedish saxophonist who is steeped in Nordic folk/trad music.

Will Tekatoa (Arua) - a Solomon Islander who sings and plays percussion and pan pipes.

Duncan Taylor - an accomplished trombonist who has returned to NZ after a long stint in Brazil where he has been immersing himself in the Choro tradition.
