The 'Committee' brings together some of the most in-demand musicians in New Zealand, bringing their different influences and compositions to styles ranging from more traditional jazz to contemporary music.
Ockham Collective resident Mat Fieldes, on bass, has spent 25 years based in New York and touring the world, playing and recording with such legends as Ornette Coleman and Joe Zawinul, Jay Z and the Gorillaz and contemporary 'crossover' group Absolute Ensemble. He has played on 4 Grammy nominated albums including one win with English rocker Joe Jackson.
