Marion is a Tāmaki Makarau–based actor, writer and producer, with a curiosity for process and play. She has worked both in Aotearoa and the United Kingdom since graduating from Unitec with a Bachelor of Performing Arts degree. Highlights have included performing in award-winning short films Datsun and Baby?, being the Producer-in-Residence at The Basement Theatre and the producer of Massive Company, and writing, producing and performing in The Panty Shelf in Edinburgh, London, and Tāmaki Makarau.
Marion's main focus with Ockham Collective is to create regular scene workshops for actors and directors called The Sandbox. The Sandbox is all about nurturing the relational space between an actor and a director. It provides a low-pressure playground for professional practitioners to regularly get out of their comfort zones, helping them to stay match-fit for professional opportunities and providing the opportunity to explore ideas in a safe environment. These sessions also grow connections between the creative-professional community through having fun together, offering a safe space for directors and actors to test out scripts they are developing.
