December calendar

Summer's here and the Christmas decorations are being dusted off. Before we lose ourselves in the whirlwind of office parties and shopping frenzies that's fast approaching, we wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude to everyone who has made 2025 such a great year for the Ockham Collective.

First and foremost, we want to thank the eight wonderful creatives who joined us on the Collective this year: Tom Knowles, Hinekoia Tomlison, Bridget van der Zijpp, Leea Lamatoa, Virginia Frankovich, Tim Bern, Rachel Fuller and Jamie Irvine. We've really loved spending time with you and seeing your creative visions take shape. It would also be remiss not to acknowledge our founders, Benjamin Preston and Mark Todd, without whom none of this would be possible.

And to everyone who has supported us by buying tickets, attending events, performing, booking lessons and participating in workshops... ka nui te mihi!

The year's not over yet. While some of us are winding down for summer, others are just gearing up (see Tom's schedule below). There are plenty of things on at the Nix in the first half of December, but we all know that the tumbleweeds will be rolling along the streets of Tāmaki Makaurau by the end of the month. Most of your favourite regular OC happenings will pause before Christmas and return in the second half of January.

We were lucky enough to catch Amy Mansfield's H.R. The Musical #2 at Q Theatre last week and it's a hoot. It's only on until this Saturday (6 December), so don't miss out (click on the banner below).
