January Calendar

Wherever this message finds you, we hope you're having a great start to 2026. Things are quiet here in damp old Auckland, but there are some exciting things to look forward to in the coming weeks which we've outlined below.

If you're looking for a stimulating literary soundtrack to distract from your summer projects, Bridget van der Zijpp's Writer Write: Actors Read sessions have now been released as a podcast. Each features a Kiwi short story read by a well-known local actor and recorded during the series held last year at the Nix. We're also delighted to announce that RNZ National will broadcast the episodes at about 8.10pm every weeknight from Monday 5 January, with some encores on the following Sunday.

As for our regular Ockham Collective happenings, most will return in the last week of January.
