Dropping nursery rhymes

Dropping nursery rhymes

We can't think of anything that the OC's Tom Knowles has done this year that couldn't be described as 'kooky' ('bonkers' would also work).

He's got a ton of things lined up for summer, including performances of his kid's show All The Things I Wish I Could Be and his Roadkill musical at the World Buskers Festival in Christchurch and the Hamilton Arts Festival. He'll also be performing at Cubadupa in Wellington in March and then returning to the capital to debut a brand-new children's show, But Why, Dad?, in September at Circa Theatre.

But before all that he's launching Nursery Rhyme Remix — 'six weeks of reimagined, revamped classics for today's kids' — coming to a streaming service near you.

Starting December 12th, a new remix will drop every week, breathing fresh life into familiar tunes with big beats, playful twists and Tom’s signature blend of humour, heart and musicianship. Some fans may recognise early versions from his shows, but this is the first time these remixed favourites will be fully released across all major streaming platforms.
