It you enjoyed HR: The Musical, don't miss I Didn't Invite You Here to Lecture Me, a new show by Amy Mansfield which is playing at Q Theatre for three nights as part of the NZ Intl Comedy Festival. Set in a lecture theatre, this solo verbatim comedy is performed by Mika Austen (pictured) and directed by Michael Hurst. Thousands of pages of uni notes are gleefully stitched together by Amy in this merciless romp, following eight characters across all manner of subjects. Enrol now!

Also this month, jazz pianist Ben Fernandez is bringing Bollywood meets Jazz to TAPAC on Tuesday 20 May, in collaboration with the Auckland Jazz Orchestra. Expect modern, original, funky, jazz arrangements of Bollywood classics performed by one of the finest jazz big bands in Aotearoa.
