Return of the uke

Sunday singing-and-ukulele sessions have returned to the Ockham Collective, with Collective alumni Sonia Wilson bringing her popular group lessons back to The Nix. A one-hour lesson for beginners and newcomers kicks off at 11am, followed by a session for seasoned beginners and intermediate-level players at 12.30pm. Lessons cost $20, and you'll need to book your spot via Meetup.

It's a busy month for Sonia, with the launch of her bilingual French/English album and illustrated book, Sweet Paname. The project was inspired by her desire to celebrate her French roots, while using her storytelling to showcase other musicians and visual artists met along the way.

Sonia will also be performing as part of the Bleu Blanc Rouge Trio at the VIVE LA FRANCE Milford French Festival on Saturday 11 March and the One Day in Provence long lunch at The Cloud on Saturday 25th March.
