Splore on the screen
For those still grieving the fact that there's no Splore festival this year, here's something to tide you over.
Billed as ‘a radical live multimedia experience’, Three Days in February is a work by multimedia artist Serena Stevenson combining footage filmed over five years at Splore with live music and an original score. At least four of our Ockham Collective folks have been involved in the project, including Joella Pinto and Martin Roberts, whose Arcus String Quartet will be performing live on the night to a score written by Jessie Leov.
It's being held within the beautiful confines of the Civic on Friday 14 February (tickets are available through Ticketmaster). It wouldn't be in the spirit of Splore with no dancing, so make a night of it and head down to the Wintergarden for the Lucky Star Party afterwards.
