Transglobal and Pop-Up Folk Club

Two regular musical events are coming up at The Nix and linking them is Ockham Collective stalwart Hanna Wiskari (pictured). Hanna is brining another Transglobal Music Session to The Nix on Sunday 17 September. The guest artist is none other than French-American chanteuse and OC regular Sonia Wilson. Sonia won't have far to travel as she will be hosting her regular Sunday ukulele sessions at The Nix immediately beforehand. Transglobal kicks off at 2.30pm, with tickets available via eventbrite.

Hanna will be popping up again as one of the guest artists at Louise Evan's Pop-Up Folk Club on Saturday 23 September, which is back for its third instalment. As well as being a scintillating saxophonist, Hanna is a specialist in the folk music of her native Sweden. Joining her on the bill is Ang Kidd and muso's muso Dave Khan, fresh from touring with The Veils and Marlon Williams. The show starts at 5pm and tickets are $15 on the door (see the ad below).
