Howdy Bluegrassers
Well butter my butt and call me toast, we're as happy as a dog with two tails to welcome the Auckland Bluegrass Club to their new home. Starting from Wednesday 11 October, the club will meet at The Nix on every second Wednesday, kicking off at 7.30pm. This nicely complements our other regular musical offerings at The Nix, including the fortnightly Tuesday Irish Sessions and the Old-Time Sessions held every fourth Wednesday.
No one is happier about this than Ockham Collective founder and newly appointed president of the club, Benjamin Preston. Says Benjamin, "Bluegrass is really close to my heart and it's a thrill to host the Auckland Bluegrass Club at an Ockham Collective space".
NOTE: Butter Wouldn’t Melt, who were advertised to perform on 11 October, have had to cancel. Stepping up in their place are The Pipipickers ($10 cash on the door).
