James is the festival director of Going West, the oldest litfest in the land, and we're delighted to have him on the Collective this year. James and Going West are currently producing Season 2 of Different Out Loud.

The Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi has just named seven laureates who they identify as Aotearoa New Zealand’s most outstanding artists for 2022, 'recognised for their outstanding practice as well as their significant impact'. The first exhibition to evolve from the Moana-Nui-a-Kiwa Cross-Crits group opened last week at ODDLY gallery and runs until 16 April. Ashleigh Taupaki and the OC’s Jasmine Tuiā curated the group show, which features the work of nine local artists.
